She encourages students to share, collaborate, think out loud, be creative and make their learning visible. Determan is a Seesaw Ambassador and Curriculum Technology Advocate for her school and facilitates district professional development, sharing her expertise and passion for technology and leading fellow teachers to adopt new and innovative practices.

Kathryn Haddad has taught English language arts for the district for 18 years, and is currently the English department chair at Kennedy High School. Haddad encourages students to share ideas and connect using digital tools and instructional methods within her Moodle courses. She also contributed to the development of Bloomington’s online learning program, which will offer courses taught by district teachers using district curriculum.
